I always wished they were gluten-free, so I set out to make my own version. Pa Jeon is the Korean name for these delicious onion pancakes as they originated in Korea and are a popular snack. They can be filled with seafood and other items, and are typically made with rice flour. I figured, if Trader Joe can make them with wheat flour, I can make them gluten-free!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are low-carb, Ketogenic, and&nbsp; Trim Healthy Mama friendly and there are choices, so make the version that fits your diet and lifestyle. There are several ways to make these, which I will explain later in the post. Please read this part so you can make the version that fits your personal macros. For now, the recipe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can watch me make these on YouTube <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/wK8TvFOztqA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>. Most likely, you can make them with ingredients already in your kitchen. Miso adds a LOT of flavor to this recipe, so if you leave it out you might want to add in some other flavoring ingredient such as this <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3flTbDR\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\">Better than Bouillon<\/a>.&nbsp; Please look for miso in a local health food store and buy organic, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3cXCEod\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"false noopener noreferrer\">something like this miso<\/a>. Remember it only takes a little to add a lot of flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step Three: Spray pan with cooking spray. It will spread out just a little but not too much. Phenomenal! I actually preferred the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thatorganicmom.com\/10-day-gluten-free-dairy-free-challenge-trim-healthy-mama\/\">gluten-free<\/a> version. If you follow a low-carb or Ketogenic diet, use the S-version below. Do everything else exactly the same.
